COCO

"Faceless brings together the joy of colors and my comic side. It is my creative engine"

Today we talk to Coco Dávez, selected as one of the most influential young European artists by Forbes. You may recognise her from her work Faceless. It is the collection that has driven her the most to date, it is the first with which she really began to enjoy painting, it is, in short, her creative driving force.

One day he decided to paint a portrait of Patti Smith, but the result was not so good and he ended up erasing her face with a brush stroke. And that is how the faceless collection came about, which consists of a series of portraits of famous people without faces.

Her new studio is a large space, designed for workshops, meetings and talks. A studio with a cheerful atmosphere that she transmits through colour, a language in which she feels comfortable.
