HEBRA, ARCHITECTS AND INTERIOR DESIGNERS. THEY COMBINE METICULOUS CRAFTSMANSHIP AND NATURAL ELEMENTS TO CREATE EXCITING ATMOSPHERES THAT MAKE PEOPLE FEEL CALM AND COMFORTABLE.
We were classmates, we studied together at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and after graduation, each of us started our professional career abroad. One of us went to New York and the other to Rome, but after a few years, we both returned to Valencia. We were contacted for a project and decided to bet on something of our own that would incorporate what we had learned abroad. Everything came together very naturally.
We like to talk about sensations. We create spaces that transmit calm, places where you enter and feel peace, where you feel comfortable and welcomed. We achieve this through significant formal refinement and a careful selection of materials, textures, and lighting that bring richness and harmony.
We love the controlled and studied use of color, so we avoid projects that are too loud and focus on a refined study of the color palette. For example, we like to apply the same color through different textures to give material richness within a single range.
We feel more aligned with Japanese or Danish architecture for its sobriety and warmth, and we avoid the most viral and fleeting trends. We believe in the timelessness of good design.
It’s a response that evolves over time because we, too, evolve and go through different phases, but right now, we are in love with a project: the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech, by Studio KO. We think it has great spatial and material quality, and it manages to speak about Moroccan architecture in a contemporary and very interesting language.
We would choose the sculpture Bilbao or East-West/West-East by Richard Serra, which we like very much and have kept in mind this year after his passing.
To begin with, we love that it’s a local company, but mainly because it bets on youthful and creative design that brings freshness to spaces.

Olive green or terracotta red.
Danish, Japandi.
The combination of the two. The vibe and community of the city gives us the energy to grow, to improve, to update ourselves. The countryside gives us the inspiration, the peace and the land that every creative process needs. We could not choose one of the two because both are essential for us.
